Abstract
Introduction. Filariasis is a parasitic, infectious tropical disease caused by thread like nematodes belonging to family filiridae and transmitted by blood sucking insects like mosquito. Aim. To study the spreading and prevalence of different types of filariasis in india and study the different states which are most effected by it. Methods and materials used. Internet, wikipedia, books, library database, youtube and information taken from hospitals in india.
