Abstract

Adverse cardiac remodelling is a common characteristic of abnormalities of cardiac structure and functions, which are a result of natural evolution of numerous cardiovascular disease and other conditions, such as type 2 diabetes mellitus. The pathogenesis of adverse cardiac remodelling is complex and closely relates to the occurrence of heart failure.
