Проблема білінгвізму й чистоти мовлення викладачів закладу вищої медичної освіти при навчанні іноземних студентів

Abstract

Викладання фахових дисциплін україномовним іноземним студентам у вищій медичній освіті є складним завданням, що потребує врахування мовних, когнітивних та культурних особливостей здобувачів освіти. Ключовими принципами ефективного навчального процесу є одномовність, зрозумілість, демонстративність, свідомість та професійна спрямованість. Одним з основних чинників, що впливає на якість засвоєння знань, є мовний бар’єр, зокрема недостатнє володіння студентами українською мовою на належному рівні й нечиста мова викладачів. Teaching professional disciplines to Ukrainian-speaking international students in higher medical education is a complex task that requires consideration of the linguistic, cognitive, and cultural characteristics of the learners. Key principles for an effective learning process include monolingualism, clarity, demonstrability, awareness, and professional orientation. One of the main factors affecting the quality of knowledge acquisition is the language barrier, specifically insufficient proficiency in the Ukrainian language among students and mixed language used by lecturers. Survey results indicate that for international medical university students, the key criteria for a successful teacher include proficiency in Ukrainian, academic achievements, and professional experience. At the same time, emotional expressiveness, gestures, and a sense of humor facilitate material comprehension, while strictness and high demands evoke mixed feelings. The main challenges during practical lessons are the language barrier, lack of individual approach from the lecturer, and insufficient connection between theory and practice. Students seek not only in-depth knowledge from their instructors but also expect to see interactive, lively presentation of the material.
