Екзистенційні смисли соціальної сингулярності

Abstract

В статті проаналізовано основні складові, що формують концептуальну матрицю екзистенційних смислів феномену «соціальна сингулярність». Визначено, що сингулярність призводить до майже необмежених технологічних можливостей, тому поняття «соціальна сингулярність» розглядається нами, як концепція, що презентує знання про несподівану та незворотну зміну у соціальній структурі та динаміці суспільства, викликану, як правило, технологічними чи культурними інноваціями. Люди, які зараз борються за мізерні ресурси, знайдуть неймовірне добробут та свободу, або втратять свою свободу. Підкреслено, що життя після сингулярності сильно відрізнятиметься від того, що було раніше, але воно не буде незбагненним. Концепт соціальної сингулярності, на наш погляд, безсумнівно починає формувати Р. Курцвейл у своїх основних працях «The Singularity Is Near», «How to Create a Mind: The Secret of Human Thought Revealed» («Еволюція розуму. Як розширення можливостей нашого розуму дозволить вирішити багато світових проблем» (2012)) та ін. Автор аналізує технологічну сигулярність, а по суті, каже, виключно про феномен соціальної сингулярності, бо саме створені технології змінюють звичний соціальний устрій суспільств. Аналізується список майбутніх технологічних можливостей, підкреслюючи, що соціальні наслідки впливу майбутніх технологічних можливостей торкнуться всіх нас. Визначені драйвери, що наближають прихід соціальної сингулярності, а саме зазначається, що соціальна сингулярність настане в результаті одночасної дії трьох новітніх технологій: штучного інтелекту, молекулярної нанотехнології та молекулярної біотехнології. Передбачено, що штучний інтелект (ШІ) перевершить людські здібності, стане основою для нової ери в історії людства. Очікується, що за допомогою молекулярної нанотехнології можна буде конструювати будь-які об’єкти на атомарному рівні, що призведе до революції у виробництві та медицині. Молекулярна біотехнологія включає генні модифікації і контроль над біологічними процесами на молекулярному рівні, що обіцяє радикальне поліпшення здоров’я і тривалості життя людини. Тому, метою статті визначено осмислення концептуального поля екзистенційних ризиків і пріоритетів соціальної сингулярності як структурної частини нової дігітальної парадигми філософського дискурсу. The article analyzes the main components that form the conceptual matrix of existential meanings of the phenomenon "social singularity." It is determined that singularity leads to almost unlimited technological possibilities, and thus the concept of "social singularity" is considered as a concept that presents knowledge about the unexpected and irreversible change in the social structure and dynamics of society, usually caused by technological or cultural innovations. People who are now struggling for scarce resources will either find incredible prosperity and freedom or lose their freedom. It is emphasized that life after the singularity will differ greatly from what came before, but it will not be incomprehensible. The concept of social singularity, in our opinion, is undoubtedly beginning to be shaped by R. Kurzweil in his major works “The Singularity Is Near”, “How to Create a Mind: The Secret of Human Thought Revealed” ("Evolution of the Mind. How expanding the capabilities of our minds will solve many of the world's problems” (2012)), etc. The author analyzes the technological singularity, and in fact, he speaks exclusively about the phenomenon of social singularity, because it is the created technologies that change the usual social structure of societies. The article analyzes a list of future technological possibilities, highlighting that the social consequences of the impact of these future technological advancements will affect all of us. The drivers bringing social singularity closer are identified, noting that social singularity will occur as a result of the simultaneous action of three cutting-edge technologies: artificial intelligence, molecular nanotechnology, and molecular biotechnology. It is predicted that artificial intelligence (AI) will surpass human abilities, becoming the foundation for a new era in human history. It is expected that molecular nanotechnology will enable the construction of any objects at the atomic level, leading to a revolution in manufacturing and medicine. Molecular biotechnology includes genetic modifications and control over biological processes at the molecular level, promising radical improvements in human health and longevity. Thus, the article's goal is to comprehend the conceptual field of existential risks and priorities of social singularity as a structural part of the new digital paradigm of philosophical discourse.
