Інтеграція інтерактивних технологій у викладанні іноземної мови у медичних закладах вищої освіти

Abstract

Стаття присвячена аналізу інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій і засобів навчання у ЗВО, а саме проблемам впровадження дистанційної та змішаної форм навчання в умовах, спричинених пандемією коронавірусної хвороби SARS-CoV-2, використовуючи інтерактивні технології у викладанні дисципліни «Іноземна мова за професійним спрямуванням» студентам медичних спеціальностей. Вивчення правовстановлюючих документів Міністерств освіти і науки й охорони здоров’я України допомогло окреслити напрямки дослідження, сфокусованого на вивченні основних характеристик та інструментарію платформи MS Teams щодо впровадження нових методів викладання іноземної мови за професійним спрямуванням. Для досягнення поставленої мети використовувалися такі методи: аналітичний огляд літератури, описовий метод, метод емпіричного дослідження, метод зіставлення отриманих даних, проектний метод розробки навчально-методичного комплексу з дисципліни «Іноземна мова за професійним спрямуванням». Було розроблено сучасний комплекс методів, засобів і прийомів викладання дисципліни «Іноземна мова за професійним спрямуванням» студентам медичних закладів вищої освіти. Доцільність усіх розроблених видів робіт щодо розвитку мовленнєвої діяльності (Listening, Reading and Use of English, Writing, Speaking) визначалася критеріями, затвердженими у робочих програмах із дисципліни, програмах, розроблених спільно із Британською Радою та рекомендованих Міністерством освіти і науки України, а також Загальноєвропейськими Рекомендаціями з мовної освіти. Результати дослідження дозволяють представити навчальний матеріал засобами дистанційного навчання без суттєвих якісних втрат і сприяють більш ефективному досягненню цілей, передбачених програмою вивчення дисципліни, зберігаючи стимул і зацікавленість студентів в освітньому процесі. Запропонований у статті комплексний підхід до вирішення нагальних проблем із викладання іноземної мови у сучасних умовах є перспективним і стане у нагоді не лише на період дистанційної форми навчання, а й після пандемії, як допоміжний у впровадженні й оцінюванні самостійної роботи студентів. The article is devoted to the analysis of information and communication technologies and teaching aids in higher education establishments, namely the problems of introduction of distance and mixed forms of education in the conditions caused by the pandemic of coronavirus disease SARS-CoV-2, using interactive technologies in teaching the discipline “Foreign language for professional purposes” to medical students. The study of legal documents of the Ministries of Education and Science and Health of Ukraine helped to determine the directions of the study which was focused on investigation of general characteristics and instruments of MS Teams regarding the introduction of new methods of teaching a foreign language for professional purposes. To fulfill the purpose, the following methods were used: an analytical review of the literature, a descriptive method, an empirical research method, a method for comparing the obtained data, a project method for developing an educational and methodological complex for the discipline “Foreign language for professional purposes”. As a result of the research, a set of modern methods and means of teaching the discipline “Foreign language for professional purposes” to students of medical institutions of higher education has been designed. The expediency of all designed types of exercises for the development of speech activity (Listening, Reading and Use of English, Writing, Speaking) was determined by the criteria of approved programs in the discipline, programs developed together with the British Council and recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, as well as CEFRL. The results of the study allow to present educational material by means of distance learning without significant quality losses and contribute to more effective achievement of the goals set by the program of the discipline, while maintaining the incentive and interest of students in the educational process. The comprehensive approach to solving urgent problems suggested in the article is promising and will be useful not only for the period of distance learning, but also after the pandemic, as an aid in the implementation and evaluation of independent work of students.
