| dc.description.abstract | Purpose. Study of the peculiarities of changes in the factors of innate immunity in patients with various forms and course of erysipelas. Materials and methods. 144 patients with various forms of primary and recurrent erysipelas were examined; the study was carried out in accordance with the ethical, moral, and legal requirements of the Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine № 281 dated November 1, 2020. To study the cellular factors of innate resistance, the phagocytic activity of neutrophils and monocytes in the blood, the oxygen-dependent metabolism of neutrophils, the activity of myelopyroxidase, and the content of cationic proteins in neutrophils were determined. Results. In patients with primary and recurrent erysipelas, there was revealed the imperfect phagocytosis of neutrophilic and monocytic links, aggravated by the deficit of functional metabolic reserve in relapses. The degree of immune disorders varied depending on the severity of the course of the disease – from I to II degrees of immune disorders. Conclusions. The most immunologically compromised (failure of the phagocytic system) patients are the ones with primary erysipelas complicated by sepsis, as well as patients with the recurrent course of the disease. | uk_UK |
