Physiological principles of respiratory therapy of COVID-19

Abstract

The COVID-19 epidemic ("coronavirus disease 2019") has already gone down in history as an emergency of international significance. The effectiveness of the drugs is still an open question. And after the development of respiratory failure the care is based on the general principles of respiratory therapy: the use of oxygen through a mask with a compensated form of respiratory failure or mechanical ventilation with increased symptoms of acute respiratory failure.
